A WOMAN is in a critical condition after she was trapped in her car for nearly an hour following a collision with a truck in Sydney's southwest.
The latest accident came after a grim weekend on NSW roads in which six people died.
Rescue teams worked for almost an hour to cut the woman free from her sedan on Monday afternoon after her vehicle collided with a semitrailer at Leppington.
The 33-year-old Miller woman suffered head, facial, chest and leg injuries that left her semi-conscious.
She was placed in an induced coma before being rushed to Liverpool Hospital.
On Saturday afternoon a 40-year-old motorcyclist died and 61-year-old motorcyclist was injured after they crashed into each other at Burrier, near Nowra, on the south coast.
A 62-year-old man died after being hit by a van in West Tamworth, in northern NSW, on Saturday morning.
