An alleged video of football legend Diego Maradona beating his ex-fiance, Rocio Oliva, is making the round on the Internet.
The 30-second clip shows Argentina's soccer god clearly inebriated and watching a match on television. Following an argument the 53-year-old approaches Oliva, 24, before hitting her multiple times.
According to a transcription of the video by an Argentine TV channel, the argument started when Maradona told Oliva to stop using her cellphone.
"Keep looking! Keep looking at your phone!" he says before she replies: "Stop, loco, why can't I look at my phone?"
This is when Maradona loses it and assaults Oliva, who can be heard saying "Stop! Stop! Stop hitting me.”
Maradona and Oliva had an on-and-off relationship, at one point being engaged to wed before breaking it off completely a few months ago. Since parting ways, she has accused the former Napoli star of domestic abuse for which the above mentioned video could stand to be used as proof. However, since the visuals are blurry it cannot be said with complete certainty that it's him.
