Nightmare Basketball Shot; How Did This Even Happen?


The ball was exactly where it was supposed to be to earn the game-winning point, but something happened that changed everything just before the time ran out.

On Saturday night, the most unbelievable thing happened during a nail-biting high school basketball game between the Grandview High School Greyhounds in Washington state and Prosser High School.

With seconds left in a 65-65 tie game, Grandview stole the ball from Prosser with just enough time for a game-winning shot.

It was a perfect throw. Good fortune favored Grandview. The ball, however, didn’t.

In case you were wondering who won, Grandview did – in overtime – with a 72-70 victory over the opposing team.
