This is why Steve Ballmer is the antithesis of Donald Sterling.

Steve Ballmer's lively and exuberant personality is no secret, but what he did on Monday was a bit too much to swallow.

The former Microsoft CEO made his first appearance after being confirmed as the new owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, and he made sure it was one to remember. In an entrance that is more common in professional wrestling than in public events, the 58-year-old screamed, clapped as hard as he could, gave fans high fives and pumped up everyone in attendance.

The only thing he didn't do was tear up his shirt and throw it back into the stands. That would have been totally awesome though.

Eminem's "Lose Yourself" was playing in the background during his entrance and set the tone for his high-energy levels.

Next up, he addressed the now-super charged fans and publicly revealed his email address. It's clear Ballmer wants to be everything that Donald Sterling wasn't – approachable, energetic and non-racist.

Here is some more on-stage screaming by the man once nicknamed Barmy Ballmer.
