With the London Olympics 2012 just around the corner, the BBC has released a beautiful promo that captivates you from the get go! UK’s official broadcaster premiered a CGI-Animated Olympic promo and frankly it is very impressive.

We first glimpsed the teaser for the three minute long trailer during the Euro 2012 final and it was only yesterday that the BBC released the trailer in its entirety. It’s a captivating trailer which contains almost all of Olympic events and visuals – built around themes that Brits would be able to relate to more.]

So what is the controversy you ask, which surrounds the Olympic CGI trailer? Well, the controversy is that BBC has copied Lloyds TSB’s famed animated adverts for the London Olympics 2012 trailer. Apparently the advert launched a flurry of debate from viewers who noticed similarities between the two.

Frankly to us, other than the use of CGI there didn’t look like there were too many similarities. You guys can check both the Lloyds TSB’s adverts and let us know!
