Apparently this girl who threw out the first pitch at a recent Japanese baseball game is supposed to be the creepy girl from The Ring. OK, I know that the 2002 U.S. film was based on a Japanese novel and movie, the latter from 1998. But why this, now? Come on Japan, explain yourself.

And combined with the batter and the mascot umpire … well, good luck getting to sleep tonight, kids.

Still a ripoff of Cousin It from the Addams Family, in my opinion.
