Tears are being shed across the kicks-loving universe.

Here's the first tweet from sports retailer Finish Line that caused excitement across Twitter: 

And....5 minutes later: 

This Twitter user exclaimed what thousands were thinking (other than, "What exactly is so special about this shoe?")

At $130 a pair, these kicks aren't cheap. 

The shoe is named for the New York Knicks NBA star Carmelo Anthony and has a black and gold make-up with his personal logo on the tongue and the Jordan Jumpman branding on the heel.

Clearly, Anthony is loved! His Twitter account has almost 6 million followers.
