German Fans Sure Know How To Welcome Their World Cup Heroes

July 15, 2014: Germany fans show the world how to welcome their heroes.

Winning the FIFA World Cup is one of the most difficult tasks in football – maybe even in all sports.

So, it's kind of a big deal when a team wins as they remain football champions for four years. If you win it in style like the German national football team did last Sunday, it’s even more exciting.

The newly crowned World Champions touched down in Berlin just a few hours ago, and as expected, what awaited them on their return to home soil was a heroes' welcome.

Hundreds of thousands of fans took to streets in Berlin to honor Die Mannschaft for making their nation proud. Check out the photos from their winning parade down below:
