Royals' Nori Aoki Gives a Kid The Best Birthday Present A Fan Could Wish For

One Kansas kid will long remember his 10th birthday, thanks to Royals’ Nori Aoki.

The stinker in Game 1 of the World Series aside, the Kansas City Royals have been very impressive this post-season. But it turns out that baseball field isn't the only place where they've been making an impression.

According to Reddit user Sandbrink, the Royals outfielder Nori Aoki apparently left two World Series tickets in the mailbox of his neighbor whose son was having his 10th birthday.

The tickets are of Game 1, so let's hope that the picture is old or the story has come out late. After all, despite how bad the Royals were in that game, it is a sin to let World Series tickets go to waste.

Of course, skeptics doubt the authenticity of the story, with some even claiming that the kid's dad might have made it up and added Aoki to the twist just to cheer him up, but let's not go there. In times when critics don't require authenticity to bash up sports stars on negative headlines, they shouldn't also be seeking proof on rumors of someone doing something good.
