The crowd gathered at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night to watch living legend Roger Federer play an exhibition match against the man who has plagiarized his style. That's Grigor "Baby Fed" Dimitrov.
The similarity in this pair's groundstrokes always amazes fans, but this time, their tennis prowess was overshadowed by a kid. With the match tied one set apiece, Dimitrov invited on court a boy who was a 12- or 13-year-old at max.
With Dimitrov's racquet, he returned Federer's serve, rallied with the GOAT a little before stunning him with as perfect a lob as you'll ever see. The Swiss maestro had no chance and he immediately hid his face in his shirt.
There was not a single person inside the Garden – except of course Federer – who didn't celebrate the young stud's amazing shot. He will remember this for the rest of his life.
Dimitrov has long been trying to shed his Baby Fed nickname. Well, now we know who should take up the moniker.
