June 18, 2014: Mexican goalie Guillermo Ochoa has proved that soccer isn't all about scoring goals.

In a way, a soccer goalkeeper is like a rock band drummer. No matter how good they are at keeping the ball out of the net, they rarely get the recognition for it, and are always in the background. Mexico goalie Guillermo Ochoa might have changed that norm. In his country's World Cup clash with Brazil, all eyes were on the plethora of supremely talented attacking players like Neymar, Oscar and Andres Guardado, but Ochoa stole the limelight from them. He thwarted each and every offensive move that the Brazilians conjured up and singlehandedly earned his side a 0-0 draw.

So dominant he was that many regarded it as one of the best goalkeeping displays the World Cups have ever seen. Even Selecao coach Luiz Felipe Scolari couldn't help but praise the man with the curly locks and iron hands. As soon as the match ended, creative heads on Twitter delivered a tribute to Ochoa in their own typical style. Check out some of the best memes that his incredible goalkeeping displays inspired:
