Some goals are just impressive, some are a thing of beauty and then there are those that leave you scratching your head.
Minnesota Wild forward Charlie Coyle just scored a crazy head-scratching goal in his team's 2-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday.
With the game tied at one goal apiece in the third period, the 22-year-old capitalized on a stray pass and rushed toward the Oilers' net. But instead of testing Edmonton goaltender Viktor Fasth straightaway, he tucked the puck past him.
With Coyle now several feet behind the net, his chance seemed gone. However, this is when Coyle displayed his unnatural extension and somehow managed to put the puck in the back of the net.
It's one of those things which you'd have to see to believe – and not just once, but multiple times.
