Apart from being one of the top seeds, Novak Djokovic is also known as one of the friendliest players on the ATP circuit. For instance, just last year during the French Open, the Serbian former world No. 1 made headlines when he invited a ball boy to his bench, shared an umbrella and had a drink with him.
This week, however, he lost his cool after losing the second set of the Miami Open to long-time rival Andy Murray.
A furious Djokovic shouted loudly at his support camp and at the same time, unconsciously, snatched his towel from the ball boy, who visibly looked startled and quickly got out of the way.

Umpire Damien Dumusois issued a code violation for the manner in which the player yelled at his entourage – not for the way he treated the ball boy.
However, after he won the match, Djokovic posted a message on his Facebook page apologizing to the young man and his family:
"I want to reflect on a bad moment that happened today in the finals against Andy," he began. "When I lost the second set, I yelled to my box in frustration and I saw the replay. Unfortunately, the ball boy was in the middle of it, and I really, really feel sorry and I regret that he was there. There was absolutely no intention whatsoever to hurt him or scare him in any kind of way, and I sincerely hope that he forgives me."
He said sorry to the ball boy’s parents for the situation adding, “As a father I wouldn’t wish something like this happens to my son.”
