Obama To U.S. Soccer Team: 'Playing Like A Girl Means You're A Bada**'

President Barack Obama congratulated the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team by acknowledging them as the bada**es they truly are on the field.

When President Barack Obama welcomed the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team to the White House this morning, he slammed all the naysayers of the world who belittle the awesomeness of women.

During the celebration ceremony of the team’s World Cup victory, the POTUS offered some inspirational remarks and drove it home with, “This team taught all of America’s children that playing like a girl means you’re a bada**.”

After the room erupted with laughter and applause, he then briefly threw in some damage control for all those who were just waiting to attack him for his word choice, “Perhaps I shouldn’t have used that phrase, playing like a girl means being the best,” he said with a chuckle.

"They’ve inspired millions of girls to dream bigger and by the way inspired millions of boys to look at girls differently which is just as important," Obama continued. “This victory was about more than just soccer. It was about dominance, and skill, and inspiring our whole country.”

The team presented Obama with a #44 U.S. team jersey bearing his name (he’s the 44th president, hence the number choice). Then, one of the players, Abby Wambach, got an adorable team selfie with him.

This is just one of the many reasons people love Obama, he's personable and down to earth, genuinely humble ... unlike one pompous Republican presidential candidate who made headlines just yesterday for claiming $1 million dollars was a "small" amount of money.
