David Murphy stroked a go-ahead three-run homer in the sixth and the Texas Rangers won a slugfest, 11-8, over the Detroit Tigers on Sunday in the finale of a four-game set.
 
Texas recorded 18 of the 31 total hits for the game, which featured five lead changes and saw Detroit third baseman Miguel Cabrera hit three home runs for just the second time in his career.
