Seventeen times grand slam champion Roger Federer is out of the U.S. Open. He was defeated in the fourth round of the tournament in less than two and a half hours by Spaniard Tommy Robredo.
For his fans, this is yet another shock coming from Federer just after two months when the 37-year-old Swiss player was beaten by Ukrainian Sergiy Stakhovsky in the second round of Wimbledon.

Rumors regarding his retirement are resurfacing. But Federer told Reuters that he had no intenetion of quitting the sport, “Get rid of this loss as quick as I can, forget about it, because that's not how I want to play from here on. I want to play better.”
