While Celtics Were Busy Beating Grizzlies, One Of Their Fans Stabbed Another

With just over a minute left and their beloved team just taken the lead, two Rajon Rondo fans ruined it for everyone.

The TD Garden is where the Boston Celtics play their home games, but on Wednesday night it became a crime scene.

With their beloved Celtics busy staging a comeback in the final quarter of the game, a fight broke out between two groups of the home fans somewhere in the upper stands.

As seen in a video obtained by DeadSpin.com, a fan wearing a green Rondo jersey was involved in a heated argument with another in a white Rondo jersey. When the green jersey throws something at the white jersey, a sharp object, possibly razor blade, is pulled out. Fearing the worst, the families sitting nearby start moving away, and this is where all hell breaks loose.

While the video shows no more than the brawl, the police say a man was later taken to the hospital for non-life threatening knife injuries.

The police are looking for the assailant, although no arrests have been made yet.

Down below is WCVB's news report on the incident:

The brawl-turned-stabbing marred the Celtics' shock 95-92 win over Western Conference's second-best team. The game had an extremely dramatic ending, which is probably why no cameramen filming the game took notice of the craziness happening in the upper tier.
