Steph Curry Humiliates Critics By Reading Their Draft Report From 2009

They said Steph can't run the team and wouldn't last long it the NBA. Who's laughing now?

Stephen Curry may be the reigning NBA champion and the best point guard in basketball right now, but it wasn't always like that.

The Golden State Warriors ace wasn't recruited heavily out of high school and didn't get scholarship offers from top schools. Scouts constantly counted him out due to a lack of size, athleticism and even his ability to run a team, which is ridiculous because he is now arguably the best ball-handler in the NBA.

To rub his former critics' noses in it, he teamed up CoachUp for a new ad in which Curry reads a negative draft report about him from 2009.

Titled Stephen Curry: Actions Speak Louder Than Words, the video is a slap in the face of all those who counted him out and is proof that one can surmount any obstacle with hard work and determination.

While scouting system in sports has come a long way, Curry's example shows that talent hunters still get it wrong from time to time just like they did in the case of Dennis Rodman, Ben Wallace, Steve Nash, Manu Ginobili, etc.
