Teenage Record Breaker Zoe Smith Silences Twitter Bullies With Performance

Young and fresh-faced Zoe Smith does not look like an average weight lifter. But the 18-year-old Londoner smashed a British record by lifting twice her body weight during the 58kg Weightlifting event. with his remarkable performance she did not only triumphed in making a record in career, but also silenced all Twitter trolls who said that she looks like a ‘lesbian’ and a ‘bloke’. By beating her personal best and then breaking the British record she was able to answer all her anonymous Twitter critics back in style.

She said: 'I gave it to them on the platform. It's two fingers up to them, basically. What are you doing with your life? I've just competed at the Olympics! Have some of that, trolls!'

Zoe has also expressed her perspective by saying that she feels particularly sad to see abuse from girls who called her ‘weird’ because of her muscular physique. By implementing on the quote ‘actions speak louder than words’ Zoe like always has refused to bow down to the internet bullies and for this she has received immense praise from anti-bullying organizations and her fans also.

However, apart from all this it was rather unfortunate to see that none of these internet bullies had the guts to come back and post a few words of encouragement with an apology for the young weightlifter.

Even though none of it affects Zoe who is back on her usual diet of Big Mac, nuggets and chips, but it only shows that bullies as critics can sometimes be such losers.
