Terrell Owens' latest episode of When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong continues to take new turns.
First, Owens was cut by the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League. Then, Owens was offered an embarrassing $50 buyout of his ownership stake with the team.
Now, Owens has lawyered up and is demanding a public apology from the Wranglers. Oh, and he's also requesting the team pay him $160,000, a sum he believes he's owed for four game checks.
According to his attorney, Owens was most upset that the team said a missed charity appearance at a local hospital played a role in his release. Owens claimed the Wranglers privately acknowledged a team publicist had given him the wrong date for the visit.
Owens even put a deadline on his demands. He wants a retraction apology and four game checks by Tuesday or he's expected to sue the Wranglers.
