The season finale of The Franchise: A Season with the San Francisco Giants premiers tonight on Showtime, coinciding with a lot of movement in the Giants’ camp today (letting go of Aaron Rowand and Miguel Tejada while bringing in some new bats). The club is also zeroing in on their last chance to make a run for the playoffs, which is discussed in episode 8. Players also reflect on their experience with cameras being around all season filming The Franchise, and producers also give a run-down in the episode of the top stories from the year. The one guy missing from this list, however, is Brian Wilson. Mr. B Wheezy does get to close the season out, however, and does so in hilarious fashion. Reminds us a bit of the Brian Wilson antics in The Franchise episode 2, only better.
