Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat might have a real talent for spying.
The 6'11 big man on Wednesday night proved that he is sneaky and also has the ability to mix in well with the enemy without raising any suspicion.
During a timeout in the Wizards' 118-92 blowout win over the Celtics, Gortat quietly slipped inside a Celtics team huddle and then just casually walked away when it was over.
So convincing he was that none of the C's seemed to notice that there is a sixth guy with them in a white – not green – jersey.
Of course, the man nicknamed the Polish Hammer isn't the first to pull off such a stunt. Before him there was the Celts' very own Rajon Rondo, who tried slipping into a Miami Heat huddle a few years ago but wasn't as successful as Gortat was just now.
The Los Angeles Lakers' Steve Blake did something similar last year in a game against the Brooklyn Nets. So close to the coach he was that he may have actually learned the play the Nets were about to run.
By the way, when Gortat was later approached by reporters for a comment on his huddle invasion, he said:
