TNT's Christmas day broadcast featured the story of one of NBA's most loved and colorful reporters, Craig Sager.

Nicknamed "America's Sideline Reporter," Sager, 63, has been associated with sports broadcasting for more than three decades but rarely missed a day's work, until this year. In April, he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, and his life threatening illness forced him to miss the entire playoffs.

Thankfully, he has recovered enough and his cancer is in full remission. Taking advantage of his improved health, Inside The NBA's Ernie Johnson took a camera and mic to the Sager residence prior to Thanksgiving.

In the video above, you can watch Sager recall his illness and describe his miraculous recovery.
