Egypt Money Supply Climbs 8.9 Pct In Year To August

Egypt's M2 money supply rose 8.9 percent in the year to the end of August, the central bank said on Sunday.

Money supply was 1,115.3 billion Egyptian pounds at the end of August, up from 1,101.9 billion pounds at the end of July and 1,024.4 billion pounds at the end of August 2011.
