UK brand Shreddies introduces flatulence odor fighting clothing products to reduce offensive smells including underwear, jeans and pajamas.

We’ve all had those embarrassing moments when we laugh a little too hard in front of a love interest or a group of coworkers, a little gas escapes from down under and you’re just hoping that the people around you don’t notice the smell.

Well, many aren’t aware that there’s “flatulence filtering” technology that allegedly keeps fart odors from contaminating the air.

The UK brand “Shreddies” introduced clothing that features a carbon lining called “Zorflex” that absorbs flatulence odors. The offensive smells are then trapped and neutralized by the cloth and the powers are reactivated after each wash.

According to Shreddies the average person passes gas 14 times a day but with this new technology, offending others nostrils are a concern no more and we can all fart freely.

Shreddies undergarments have been on the market for about four years, but the company has expanded its offerings to include jeans and pajamas.

Although everyone could use some fart filtering, Shreddies are particularly helpful for those suffering from disorders including irritable bowel syndrome, Gastritis, Crohn’s Disease, excessive flatulence, and food intolerances among other conditions.

Say goodbye to the old phrase, "Whoever smelt it dealt it" and fears of the "silent but deadly"  because with the spark of this innovative technology, flatulence is no longer a threat to our noses.
