Tech Giants Paying Female Employees To Put Off Motherhood

Is there any length these corporations wouldn’t go to exploit women?

Silicon Valley isn’t known to be the best place for women and this latest attempt to "facilitate professional women" of the Valley is just another proof of the sad state of affairs.

Facebook and Apple are both providing their female workers the ability to freeze their eggs at the companies' expense.

"We continue to expand our benefits for women, with a new extended maternity leave policy, along with cryopreservation and egg storage as part of our extensive support for infertility treatments," Apple said in a statement.

"We want to empower women at Apple to do the best work of their lives as they care for loved ones and raise their families."

Great, isn’t it? Where millions worry about medical insurance for procedures like tooth extraction and childbirth, these magnanimous employers will be paying for a procedure that costs up to $20,000.

What's better than their employees working for years uninterrupted by irritants like a family or, heaven forbid, weeping and clingy children?

Ladies, here is the golden opportunity to work for a good 20 years or so without worrying about your ticking biological clocks.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella recently told women employees not to ask for a raise and now we have employers paying them to keep motherhood at bay and concentrate more on their work.
