Shot on the Nokia N8 mobile phone, Gulp is the world’s largest stop-motion animation. The animation shows a story of a fisherman who catches a fish and then gets swallowed by a bigger fish.
The people behind it ‘Sumo Science’ and Aardman Animations used stills from a Nokia N8 phone perched 40 meters above the ground on a crane, which became frames for the animation running 25 frames per second. The film was made in 5 painstaking days at Pendine beach in Wales, UK.
