Every computer in the world has a hard drive, but do you know exactly does it works? You may be surprised to learn it’s essentially just a tiny arm that reads and writes on a disk spinning hundreds of times per minute.

It is always amazing to see how things work. The gadgets out there really baffle the mind at times. One wonders what goes on behind the scene so-to-speak. Here is a video bound to raise the interest of the curious out there.

Shot at Shot at 1000fps, this video shows how a hard drive works. Not only that, How it goes on working despite being doused with water!

If it wasn’t for the Slo Mo Guys, we’d be in the dark about how a lot of things really work, or look like while they do!
