Samsung's recently unveiled Galaxy S5 smartphone failed to impress the critics, largely because it didn't have the features the fans have been craving for. To make sure that Apple doesn't make the same mistake, an independent designer named Sam Beckett has come up with his own design of iPhone 6, and it actually is quite impressive.
In fact, this phone is so sexy that if Apple simply adopts it end-to-end, it would be enough to keep its users happy.
Titled iPhone Air, Beckett's concept product packs a 4.7-inch 1080p display and a 10-megapixel camera. It'd be just 8 per cent larger than its predecessor – the iPhone 5s – but would have a display area that is 17 per cent larger. Also, it would have 68 per cent more pixels than the 5 series.
But despite all the larger this larger that talk, the depth of Beckett's brainchild is just 7mm thick – a good 0.6mm less than the 5s. He has also ditched Corning Gorilla Glass for sapphire crystal.
