This ingenious device transforms all objects into a touch pad so that it can easily execute commands on your keyboard.

Developed by Jay Silver and Eric Rosenbaum, final year PhD students at the MIT Media Lab, the video does provide us with an overview of what amazing stuff is the technology capable of doing.

Some of the objects that have been turned into touch pads include a banana, a playdough video game controller and a staircase.
