Remaining Episodes Of Ryan Dunn Show, Proving Ground, To Air On G4

G4 announced Monday that the Ryan Dunn reality series Proving Ground will return to its schedule in July as a tribute to the Jackass star who died a week ago in a car crash, and also out of respect for Dunn’s family.
The show, co-hosted by Jessica Chobot, will return to the lineup on July 19, airing right after a special episode of Attack of the Show, in which some of Dunn’s "closest friends and colleagues," probably a lot of Jackass co-stars, will share their thoughts and memorable Dunn moments.
On the website for Proving Ground, G4 posted the message below about Dunn’s death, saying "Ryan’s comedic wit and signature no-holds-barred approach made him an incredible talent and his work as host of G4’s Proving Ground was flawless."

Dunn died last Monday, along with passenger and friend Zachary Hartwell, when he crashed his Porsche 911 GT3 going between 130 and 140 MPH with a blood alcohol level of 0.196 – twice the legal limit in Pennsylvania where the accident took place. The car veered off the highway, smashed through a guardrail and shot through 40 yards of tress before colliding with a tree that exploded the car into flames.

Despite the infamous nature of Dunn’s death, his family wanted to see the final episodes of his show air. "It was important to all of us at G4 to find a way to celebrate his life and pay tribute to him. With the support of Ryan’s family, we’ve decided to air the remaining episodes of G4’s Proving Ground and give his fans the opportunity to continue watching this series that he was so passionate about," G4 president Neal Tiles said in the statement Monday.
Nine half-hour episodes had been shot of Proving Ground, which premiered last week. The network had run only one episode when Dunn died. The reaming episodes will air in their original timeslot starting July 19 at 8pm ET/PT.
