Snapchat Emoji update

I have yet to update my Snapchat (since I’ve forgotten my iTunes account password for the billionth time again) so the friendship revelation still remains a mystery to me, but I can already predict the cringe-worthy “yikes” and downward spiraling self-esteem when I discover my best friend doesn’t consider me her top bestie and that I’ve been on a stream of rapid fire with my ex.

The Snapchat community seems to agree with me that this new update could effectively cause a slew of real-life drama.

We all probably need to just calm down and realize that Snapchat’s interpretation of our friendships could be an honestly painful reminder that some of our contacts just don’t feel the same way or really that your co-worker just sends funnier videos of her cat than your actual best friend does.
