There’s a very valid reason for that.
The '90s was the decade that saw the dawn of the modern world. It can be associated with the rise of multiculturalism, alternative media, grunge, the rave scene, hip-hop and modern technology, including the World Wide Web.
Who can forget the days of the Sega Genesis, Beanie Babies, Walkmans, video and audio cassettes, "Home Alone," "Forest Gump," "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," Beavis and Butthead Power Rangers and N Sync?
In short, the '90s was a groundbreaking decade when not only were so many cultural and technological changes were taking place, but people were also breaking norms and discovering self-identity.
Despite all the changes, life was still simpler. There wasn’t the feeling of being "on display" at all times and privacy was appreciated.
Experiences were more personal and required some sort of an effort. For instance, one had to go out and buy books or music – there were no online shopping or downloading options.
Having said that, nothing lasts forever and before we knew it, the '90s were a quarter of a century ago. Yes, that doesn’t sound right does it? It is.
It’s actually been 24 years since 1990.
However, what we are about to list below will, if not outright ruin, definitely tarnish your memories of the '90s forever.
