4 Year Old Girl Gives Younger Brother a Stern Scolding, “You Need to Toughen Up a Bit” (Video)

If there was an award for One-Minute-of-Utter-Cuteness this video would be an ultimate winner! The video shows a very proper 4-year-old Delilah O’Donoghue reprimanding her two-year-old brother Gabriel on how to toughen up now that he is almost three!

Gabriel had gotten in a scuff with an older boy for spitting. He probably got a reprimand from his parents but older sis surely thought it wasn’t enough of a lesson. Their father recorded the video when he saw from afar what appeared to be a very effective scolding. The parents put the video up on YouTube for friends and family to enjoy, little knowing it would garner such a huge response. In just about a week, the video has gained more than 950,000 viewers!

In the video, little Gabriel seems duly chastened as he squirms and fidgets under fire. ‘When Mum and Dad said you don’t do that, you don’t do that... and you don’t spit,’ says the much wizened older sister! After all, things could have gotten ugly with Gabriel taking on a boy much older than himself. ‘That boy’s old enough. You’re only two. You’re not old enough for that boy to... do a fight,’ reasons Delilah, and rightfully so!
