A girl randomly Snapchatting a video managed to catch the moment a jet crashed into a house in Ohio.

A small jet crashed into a building in Ohio as it was on its way to Akron Fulton International Airport, leaving nine passengers dead.

The plane, carrying seven passengers and two crew members, crashed at the intersection of Mogadore and Skleton roads in eastern Akron and smashed into an apartment building, causing an explosion.

Coincidentally, a Snapchat user who claimed to be living in “that apartment complex” was filming herself at the moment when she saw the plane crash.

In the short video clip, Paige McVeigh is seen making faces in the camera, when she suddenly sees a large flash of light and explosion, and says “oh my god” before the video goes off.

While the teen says she lives at the apartment complex next to where the crash happened, an Akron Fire Department spokeswoman said no one was inside the small brick apartment or the neighboring home that caught fire. Therefore, it is unclear as to where McVeigh really was when the crash took place.

State Highway Patrol Lieutenant Bill Haymaker said "due to the severity of the fire," it was difficult to know why the plane came down.

The plane also brought down several power lines, causing a power outage in the Tallmadge area for about 1,500 people.

Both the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are looking into the cause of the crash.
