TV Reporter Goes Out With a Bang And F-Bomb On Live TV

Resignation letters are so 2013. Try this if you want to quit work.

People often have to suppress their real feelings in the line of duty. But not everyone is capable of faking it – especially when your job is in front of the camera.

KTVA reporter Charlo Greene on Sunday night faced just that dilemma when reading out a news report with a negative insinuation on medical marijuana.

Greene – who also heads a marijuana legalization club – decided she had enough and tendered her verbal resignation on live TV along with an f-bomb. She said:

"Now everything you heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy toward fighting for freedom and fairness which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska. And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but, f**k it, I quit."

She uttered those words and just walked away, leaving the audience as well as her team speechless. The visibly shaken up anchor of the show could only muster: "All right we apologize for that….we'll, we'll be right back."
