Amazing 9-Year-Old Builds Homeless Shelters

This little 9-year-old is saving the homeless one shelter at a time – with her own two hands.

Hailey Fort, a 9-year-old girl with a passion for helping the homeless, has proved she is better than all of us. She builds shelters for the homeless, and she also grows food and provides toiletries for them.

According to Bored Panda, when Hailey was 5, she saw a homeless man and asked her mom whether she could help him by buying a sandwich. This apparently sparked a fire in Hailey, and she’s been building mobile shelters for the homeless ever since then.

When asked about her inspiration to help her “friends,” as she calls them, Hailey told K5 News, “It just doesn’t seem right that there are homeless people. I think everyone should have a place to live.”

This tiny carpenter is an inspiration, and a huge ray of hope for humanity. Skilled, smart, and determined, this little girl is going places – and building them, too.
