A 49 year old Australian fisherman was rescued from shark infested waters off the coast of Western Australia. His boat sank and he was just barely hanging on for dear life. The Australian fisherman had been treading water for 20 hours before he was saved.
A TV News helicopter spotted the fisherman stark naked in the water, barley keeping his head above water. Tensions rose as dark spots circling all around the fisherman became visible, they were hammerhead sharks.
A search and rescue crew threw the Australian fisherman a parachute with a life raft, while trying to keep the sharks away from him. However the fisherman was too tired to swim to it. At last the search and rescue boat pulled up to the fatigued fisherman and hoisted him into the boat, saving his life.
