BBC’s Middle East correspondent Quentin Sommerville probably had no idea what he was getting in to when he started recording for this news report.

We don’t know what he expected with a pile of burning heroin, opium and hashish just feet from him, but he soon found out.

What followed was an attempt at a sober report overwhelmed with giggles and swooning attempts to get the facts right.
