Jaime waited for years to report the female teacher who sexually abused her when she was just 12 years old.
Unfortunately, now 28-years-old, when she finally mustered up the courage to make the report, Jamie learned that the statute of limitations had expired, and her abuser could not be legally punished for the terrible acts she committed.
But Jamie refused to simply let things stay unspoken. Instead, she took matters into her own hands, filming herself as she called the woman, now an assistant principal at a California high school, to confront her.
In response to the overwhelming support that her video received on YouTube, Jamie said the following:
“I don't even know where to begin. I am so grateful to all of you for making this video go viral. It is true. She did resign shortly after I had sent the link of the video to the Principals email. She is caught but not in custody. I was interviewed at the police station where I made my report to move forward with charges. Because of all of you who shared she will not be getting away with these things that she has done to me or any one else”
