Carrie Fisher's dog, Gary Fisher, has been on Twitter since September 2014. He regularly posts pictures of himself and pictures of his mom — all of which are precious — and his great love for Carrie is clear.
Saddest tweets to tweet. Mommy is gone. I love you @carrieffisher— Carrie Fisher's Dog (@Gary_TheDog) December 27, 2016
He also retweeted a vintage photo from the set of "Star Wars."
A princess and her droid. Fisher and Baker will always be in our hearts and minds. pic.twitter.com/mDZFANp394— Love U Carrie (@StarWarsJunk) December 27, 2016
The news of Fisher's death comes a few days after the massive heart attack she suffered on Dec. 23 during a flight from London to Los Angeles.
"It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning," a family representative told People.
On the same day of Fisher's heart attack, Gary tweeted:
It's not clear who actually runs the account, but people are sending condolences to Gary nonetheless.
@Gary_TheDog We're so sorry, Gary. We send you pug hugs.— Kate the Pug (@KatarinaThePug) December 27, 2016
Gary served as Fisher's service dog for bipolar disorder and attended many events with Fisher, including awards shows and her recent book tour.
Rest in peace, Carrie. We're all grieving right along with Gary.
