The moment when a Chinese student was hit by a speedy train, that she fortunately survived, has been caught on camera.
20-year-old Xiao Li had asked her friend, Xiao Qing, to take some ‘arty’ photographs as the train paced past her.
Li posed near the tracks, ready for her friend to take the picture. However, she was standing too close and was sent flying away while her friend captured the scene on camera which has now gone viral.
Li stated: “I felt this sudden bump and I was flying sideways. The train stopped and the driver thought he must have killed me.” She also added, “I didn’t realize I was so close. My shoulder was badly bruised but I’m lucky to be alive. Maybe next time we’ll do some pictures indoors.”
It was extremely fortunate of Li that she survived the hit. Let’s hope next time she’ll be careful while posing for pictures. And for all those out there who like taking photos… it’s a lesson for all of you. Better be safe, risking your life for a few pictures is certainly not a good idea!
