A kid from Baotou, Inner magnolia has become an immediate internet sensation after mooning China’s incoming premier, Li Keqiang, on national television.

The unexpected event took place on Sunday when as Mr Li visited the impoverished areas of Baotou, during a three day tour intended to demonstrate the government’s will to support and help the poor.

During the tour Mr. Li made an unplanned visit to the home of a local farmer. The visit is reported to be so unexpected that the farmer’s son was sleeping half-naked in the room and he apparently asked his son to hide in the cupboard.
