Harry Potter fans have another treat – a college for wizards.
It’s real, in Poland and waiting for you. Yes, one can sign-up for an experience of a lifetime for April 2015.
Liveform a Polish company, recently staged a Live Action Role Play (LARP) event based on the Harry Potter book series by J. K. Rowling and movie franchise in November in collaboration with the Danish Rollespils Fabrikken group.
Around 190 participants from 11 countries traveled to Poland to don wizard robes and cast spells at the Czocha College of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Behold the castle of Czocha- the place where it all becomes possible:
The LARPers played the role of teachers, students and other characters from Hogwarts.
And here are some glimpses of what it is like to be there:
“It is a collaborative experience in the Nordic LARP tradition, and is created by the players and organizers together, with everyone pitching in and helping make the magic come alive. It's essentially the same as when kids use curtains as robes and sticks as wands and run around pretending to be witches and wizards - except we're grownups with nicer costumes and a lot of experience in designing interactive experiences for each other,” say the organizers.
They made it an experience of a lifetime alright.
What Harry Potter experience would be complete without Quidditch?
