What a lovely smile! This is what we usually say if we see a person with a beautiful smiling face. But what if you see hundreds of sheep across the country branded with a weirdly painted smile? Isn’t it alien to us? And creepy too!
Sheep across the field of UK have been painted with a mysterious 'smiley face' symbol. The symbol was first reported on 20 animals in a field in Melton Mowbray, in Leicestershire. Five fields across the UK, including Perthshire in Scotland, and Exeter have also reported such sightings.
The bizzare symbol has triggered discussion on social media and the hashtag #creepysheep is being used on Twitter with many users baffled by the ‘tag’. Many are wondering how exactly the animals got branded with the strange symbol. Even farmers appear stunned on the appearance of the creepy smile. One farmer said: 'It is like crop circles - but on sheep.'
