Bizarre Blood Sucking Treatment

Creepy, isn’t it? But it might surprise you that it’s actually an Arabic treatment known as Hijama.

According to Wikipedia:

‘Hijama is the Arabic name in traditional medicine for wet cupping, where blood is drawn by vacuum from a small skin incision for therapeutic purposes.

‘Hijama can be performed most anywhere on the body, often at the site of an ache or pain in order to ease or alleviate it.’

‘Hijama is considered a form of energy medicine because it has been claimed to unclog the meridians in the body, and is viewed by some practitioners as a cure that can alleviate black magic and possession.’

OH DEAR GOD.

I think I'm done with dinner now.

Reverse pressure massage. Goddamn. I've an uncle who does this, but I've never seen it done on the scalp.

That's one hell of a way to display a snow globe collection.
