ESPN released a statement condemning Schilling’s actions and said the tweet was “completely unacceptable.” The company has also removed Schilling from its Little League World Series coverage.
After deleting the tweet, he also apologized and said he accepts his suspension and takes full responsibility for making a poor decision.
