Sofie, the baby giraffe made its public debut at Los Angeles Zoo. She is the first Masai giraffe to be born here.
Her mom, Hafina, gave birth last month. She is already 135 pounds, that's just over 60 kilograms, and stands six feet tall, or 1.8 metres!
Zoologists say the new family is important for the species' survival.
In recent years the Masai giraffe has been poached for meat in its native East Africa and is now in danger of becoming extinct.
