This past Halloween weekend, one California Uber driver experienced his worst nightmare as he was attacked by an inebriated passenger.

Holiday weekends are a big deal for Uber and other ride-share companies who can bring in big bucks picking up all the drunkards who “celebrated” a little too much.

But this past Halloween weekend, one California Uber driver experienced his worst nightmare as he was attacked by an inebriated passenger.

"He was grabbing my head and was trying to smash it against the window," driver Edward Caban reportedly said.

Caban said he had a bad feeling about the trip from the moment he picked up his passenger in Newport Beach on Friday night.

When the guy got into Caban’s car, he refused to put on his seatbelt and couldn’t give coherent directions.

"He was very aggressive. He was swearing at me, he was fading in and out of consciousness," Caban reportedly said.

When Caban finally had enough and told the guy to get out, he became even more irate and reached around the seat to attack him, trying to smash his head into the window.

Being a very resourceful and smart Uber driver, Caban had a can of pepper spray in his car and was able to grab it and spray the guy in the face.

Caban’s dashcam caught the WHOLE thing. The footage is cringe-worthy, almost like something out of a movie. When you see Caban get ahold of the pepper spray — you immediately go from feeling bad for Caban to cheering him on!

The police arrived shortly after the incident, the passenger was still at the scene vomiting from the pepper spray.

"I wanted to make sure he didn't get away," Caban said. "I have lost so much money on people like him and I'm done dealing with it. They take the food right out of my mouth."

The passenger, identified as Benjamin Golden, is now behind bars and has been banned from ever using Uber again, however, Caban says he's done driving for the company.

Who wouldn't be discouraged after such a terrifying experience?
