Drag racer Antron Brown is indeed lucky to be alive.
As Brown hurtled up a drag strip at 300mph in Pomona, California, his dragster engine blew up and transformed into a moving fireball.
The car, with the racer stuck inside, helplessly careered into a far wall on the left side cracking it. After that, it slipped down the track, another wall and into the sand pit at the end of the strip before it could stop.
Luckily the National Hot Rod Association Safety Safari crew safely removed Brown from the car and escorted him to an ambulance.
